AC312E AEG Review Completed

On May 28th, CAAC completed AEG review on AC312E, a 4-ton twin-engine light civil helicopter independently developed by AVIC Harbin, paving the way for the type‘s delivery and enter into operation.
The review was carried out in the form of a video conference, with representatives from arms of CAAC including the Flight Standards Department, Shenyang Certification Center, Safety Technology Center.
During the conference, AVIC Harbin reported AC312E’s operational specification with a ceiling of 5000m, a range of 500km and a commercial load of 500 kg.
AC312E can conduct missions in a range of medical aid, search and rescue, VIP transportation, etc. AC312E was awarded Type of Certificate by CAAC on December 31, 2019, which will provide a domestic choice for China’s general aviation industry in the plateau area.
